These are party games, and we would rather say so plainly than dress them up. The compatibility scores are deterministic: the same two names always produce the same number, because the tool applies a fixed arithmetic rule to the letters. That is all it does. There is no research, personality model, or measurement of any kind behind the percentage, and it tells you nothing about a real relationship — a low score means two strings of letters combined a certain way, nothing more. The date tools in this section are genuinely useful, though: half-birthday, anniversary countdown, and relationship duration are ordinary calendar arithmetic and will be accurate. If something in a relationship is troubling you, that is a conversation to have with the person, or with a qualified counsellor — never a calculator.
