Common questions

What is included in the total sale amount for eBay fees?

eBay calculates the final value fee on the total amount the buyer pays — item price plus shipping and handling you charge. Sales tax collected by eBay may also be included depending on your setup.

Why is there a $0.30 vs $0.40 per-order fee?

eBay charges $0.30 per order when the total sale is $10 or less, and $0.40 when it is over $10. This flat fee is added on top of the percentage-based final value fee.

Does the calculator include promoted listings or insertion fees?

No. This tool covers final value and per-order fees only. Insertion fees, promoted listing ad rates, and Store subscription costs are separate.
